Congratulations to Dr. Marjan Aghajani! Dr. Aghajani was awarded the prestigious Postdoctoral Research Development Grant. She has received the title of University of Arizona Sursum Fellow. Sursum is Latin for “upwards” and is featured at the center of the University of Arizona seal.
A new initiative of the Art in Medicine program provided the unique opportunity to work with the exceptionally talented artist Alexandra Bowers to create a visual depiction of our research. We unveiled “Deciphering the Nature of Cardiokines” at the first-look VIP event at Wexford Science + Technology.
